Java Engineer

Dreamix is seeking a Java Engineer to join their team in Sofia, Bulgaria. The role primarily involves backend development, where the engineer will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining Java applications using Spring Boot and related technologies. Candidates should have over three years of experience in Java development, with strong skills in Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA. Familiarity with building and consuming RESTful APIs, as well as knowledge of database design and SQL, is essential. Experience with both relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL, as well as NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Redis, is also required. The ideal candidate should be fluent in English and have experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito. While the focus is on backend development, experience in frontend development is considered a plus.
