Recruitment Lead

This full-time position at Duffel in London involves leading an internal recruiting team while also acting as a hands-on recruiter. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing team workload, conducting one-on-one meetings, and monitoring candidate pipelines to support staff development. The role requires partnering with leadership to shape hiring strategies, with a specific emphasis on expanding technical recruitment. You will be responsible for maintaining a structured interview process to ensure consistency and high-quality assessments across the organization. Additionally, you will serve as the primary contact for hiring managers when processes encounter issues and will personally manage end-to-end searches for senior, technical, or niche positions. The job requires extensive experience in recruiting within a technology-focused company, including ownership of hiring metrics and reporting to senior leaders. Candidates must have meaningful experience hiring mid-to-senior software engineers across the entire stack and a clear understanding of where engineering hiring processes typically fail. The working arrangement is hybrid, based in the Shoreditch or Liverpool Street area.
