Part II Architectural Assistant
The Role
We are looking for talented and creative Part II Architectural Assistants to join our collaborative international practice and contribute to projects across a diverse range of sectors and scales.
Working alongside Architects and Project Architects, you will gain hands-on experience across the full design process—from concept and design development through technical delivery and project coordination. This is an excellent opportunity to strengthen your skills, build professional experience and progress towards Part III qualification and a long-term career at 10 Design .
Key Responsibilities
Project & Design
Support project teams across different stages of design and delivery.
Develop design ideas, studies and options from concept through to technical stages.
Produce high-quality drawings, diagrams, models, reports and presentation material.
Contribute to design research, feasibility studies and project coordination.
Help integrate structural, MEP and specialist consultant information into coordinated designs.
Project Delivery
Assist with technical design packages and drawing production.
Support planning, building regulations and statutory submissions.
Develop your understanding of construction methods, materials and detailing.
Assist with quality reviews, coordination checks and project documentation.
Collaboration
Work closely with Architects, Project Architects and wider multidisciplinary teams.
Attend project meetings, workshops and design reviews where appropriate.
Support consultant coordination and information management.
Communicate ideas clearly and contribute positively to team discussions.
Professional Development
Take an active role in your learning and development towards Part III qualification.
Participate in mentoring, training and continuing professional development.
Share knowledge, remain open to new ideas and contribute to 10 Design’s collaborative and creative culture.
Education
RIBA Part II qualification (or international equivalent)
Experience
1-4 years' experience working within an architectural practice is desirable.
Experience on UK and/or international projects would be advantageous.
Experience on Middle East projects is beneficial but not essential.

Revit
AutoCAD
Adobe Photoshop
Enscape or equivalent visualisation software
Adobe InDesign
Microsoft Office Suite
Desirable software proficiency
Grasshopper
Adobe Illustrator
BIM workflows and model coordination platforms
Personal attributes
Strong design aptitude and architectural awareness
Creative and inquisitive approach to problem solving
Good graphic, verbal and written communication skills
Collaborative and adaptable team player
Well organised with good attention to detail
Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
Demonstrates initiative whilst seeking guidance when required
Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity, design thinking and graphical communication skills.
Working Arrangements
Right to work in the UK is required.
Hybrid working with a minimum of 4 days per week in the London studio.
Flexibility depending on project requirements and business needs.
Occasional travel may be required for project meetings, workshops and site visits.
