This role involves handling medical information queries and first-line adverse event reports for external contacts such as healthcare professionals, patients, and pharmaceutical clients. The work includes taking calls in Dutch and English, recording and reporting side effects, pregnancy cases, other special situations, and product quality complaints within set deadlines, and keeping all enquiries entered accurately in the medical information database. It also includes taking part in out-of-hours cover for clients who need a 24/7 service, giving management regular updates on enquiry volumes and project progress, and helping prepare for regulatory inspections and audits. The advert asks for a life science or biomedical background, with a healthcare-related degree such as chemistry, biology, biotechnology, pharmacy, or nursing. It also prefers customer service or call centre experience, along with comfort handling enquiries by phone, and strong skills in time and issue management, organisation, multitasking, attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal work. Advanced Dutch and English skills, both spoken and written, are required. The job is remote and full time. It would suit someone who can work carefully under deadlines and is interested in supporting pharmacovigilance and medical information services.
