Performance Tools Intern

Etched is offering a full-time Performance Tools Intern role in San Jose focused on helping build software for its ML accelerator platform. The internship involves creating and improving tools for performance analysis, profiling, data collection, and visualization so engineers can better understand workload behavior and spot bottlenecks. It also includes working with hardware counters, execution traces, memory data, and runtime activity across CPUs, accelerators, storage, networking, and distributed systems. The role would suit an engineer interested in machine learning hardware, systems performance, and close collaboration with hardware, compiler, firmware, and inference teams.
