Cell & Gene Therapy - performs analytical testing in support of viral vectors and cell therapy products to provide data regarding purity, impurities, infectivity/performance, concentration, and safety of samples. Performs a wide range of analyses (routine and non-routine) primarily but not limited to the molecular, cell biology, and virology test areas of Biopharmaceutical Services.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or related field
Ability to work in the US without immediate or potential future sponsorship
At least 3 years of GMP and chromatography experience
Experience and in-depth working knowledge of HPLC (detectors: CAD, Fluorescence, Absorbance) and LC-MS
Experience with Empower, 32 Karat
Experience in other biochemistry techniques (CE-SDS, DLS) preferred
Perform routine and non-routine testing of in-process, drug substance, and final product biologics and method qualification/validation of procedures. Ex:
RP-HPLC
SEC-HPLC
AEX/CEX-HPLC
CE-SDS
The ideal candidate:
Demonstrate understanding of LEAN principles in a laboratory space and ability to apply them to guarantee Quality of deliverables and efficiently execute time sensitive laboratory analysis.
Excellent communication (oral and written), attention to detail, ability to prioritize time-sensitive activities and responsive to Management guidance.
Ability to work independently and as part of the Cell & Gene Therapy team, show self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards day-to-day business challenges.
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company standard operating procedures and policies.
Working schedule will be Full-Time, First Shift, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply. 25% travel may be required. This position is NOT remote.
