Payroll Accountant

Evolution is hiring a Payroll Accountant in Kaunas to handle payroll processing, employment-related benefits, tax calculations, and related reporting. The role also involves checking timesheets and wage data, resolving payroll differences, supporting audits, and answering payroll questions from colleagues. Applicants should have at least one year of accounting experience, good English skills, strong Excel and Word knowledge, and a careful, responsible approach to teamwork and learning. Experience with Business Central/Navision is an advantage, and the position suits someone who works well in a dynamic international setting.

Accounting of payroll, employment-related benefits; Tax calculations and reporting to relevant authorities; Reviewing of timesheets, work charts, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies; Initiating and processing payroll timely and ensuring all payroll procedures are in line with governmental laws and policies; Consulting colleagues on various payroll-related questions; Compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages as part of report preparation; Providing support during the audits and liaising with external auditors. Professional accounting experience of a minimum of 1 year; Oral and written knowledge of English; Loyalty, ability to work in a team; Quick orientation, responsibility, diligence; Willingness to learn and improve; Proficient Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) skills; Experience with Business Central/Navision application would be considered as an advantage.
