Senior Software Engineer - Payments

FastSpring is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to work on its Payments team, building and improving the systems behind checkout, billing, settlement, refunds, and reporting for a global ecommerce platform. The role involves leading feature design and development, integrating with payment providers and other external services, and helping keep systems reliable, performant, and compliant with payment regulations. It also includes code reviews, mentoring junior colleagues, handling production issues, and working closely with teams such as Product, Risk, Finance, and Compliance. This position is suited to an experienced engineer who is comfortable in agile teams, can manage complex money-movement systems, and can work effectively with remote colleagues.
