Core Infrastructure Engineer

Firebird.ai is seeking a Core Infrastructure Engineer to focus on the design, implementation, and maintenance of critical infrastructure platforms. The role involves ensuring high availability, scalability, and security for enterprise systems that utilize Kubernetes and bare-metal environments. Daily responsibilities include architecting and maintaining scalable infrastructure, operating Kubernetes environments, and implementing monitoring and observability solutions. Candidates should have deep expertise in Kubernetes, including networking and storage aspects, as well as strong Linux skills related to kernel tuning and performance optimization. Experience with hypervisors like KVM and ESXi is also required. Familiarity with DevOps practices, particularly GitOps and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible and Terraform, is essential. Additionally, the role involves managing highly available MySQL or PostgreSQL clusters and designing scalable network architectures. The position is permanent and based in Yerevan, making it suitable for individuals with a solid background in systems engineering and a passion for infrastructure management.
