Senior IT & Security Operations Engineer

FloatMe is looking for a Senior IT & Security Operations Engineer to join their team in a hybrid role, primarily focused on security engineering with some corporate IT responsibilities. The position involves hands-on management of cloud security, desktop security, and network security, requiring expertise in AWS security and SIEM alert tuning. Daily tasks include administering mobile device management solutions, configuring office networking hardware, and monitoring threat detection systems. The engineer will also document security events and implement security policies as directed by the CISO. Candidates should have a strong background in systems administration or IT operations, with a willingness to engage in both technical and operational tasks. This role is suited for individuals eager to enhance their cybersecurity skills while maintaining a hands-on approach to IT. The position requires a full-time commitment with at least three days a week in the downtown San Antonio office.
