Accountant II

Granite Construction is hiring an Accountant II in The Woodlands, TX to support general accounting work with limited supervision. The role involves maintaining accounting records, preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, reviewing financial reports, and helping with the monthly close and special projects. The company is looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting, 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, and experience with construction accounting and Viewpoint Vista. This role would suit a detail-focused accountant with strong spreadsheet, communication, and US GAAP knowledge.
