Director of Project Development

Graphyte is hiring a remote Director of Project Development to help turn new regions into ready-to-build carbon removal projects. The role focuses on finding and assessing sites, securing land, building support with local communities and stakeholders, guiding permits, and putting in place the local agreements needed for biomass supply and logistics. It works closely with engineering, finance, and operations, and shares a growing portfolio with another director. This senior individual contributor role suits someone with experience in project development, land and stakeholder negotiations, and keeping complex projects on track in a fast-moving climate tech environment.
