Azure Infrastructure Engineer (m/w/d) in Frankfurt

This full-time position at GRÜNE'S LEIHHÄUSER GmbH & Co. KG in Frankfurt involves managing the construction, operation, and ongoing improvement of the company’s Microsoft cloud infrastructure. The role requires ensuring a stable, secure, and highly available Azure platform while collaborating with the IT team to evolve the future cloud architecture. You will serve as the technical point of contact for Microsoft 365 and modern security solutions, helping to automate and standardize the IT landscape. A key part of the job is guiding the transition from an on-premises setup to a scalable Azure environment. Day-to-day tasks include planning and optimizing the Azure platform, administering M365 services like Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint, and implementing security policies such as Identity Protection and Conditional Access. You will also manage identities, roles, and authentication methods, develop PowerShell scripts for automation, and monitor system performance and capacity. The position demands a completed vocational training in system integration or a comparable degree, along with several years of professional experience in the Microsoft cloud sector. Candidates should possess knowledge of Azure, Entra ID, and tools like PowerShell and Terraform, ideally holding relevant Microsoft certifications. Strong German language skills at a B2 level are necessary for effective internal and external communication.
