R&D Hardware Test & Development Manager

Helion is seeking an R&D Hardware Test & Development Manager to guide a multidisciplinary engineering crew in Everett, Washington. In this full-time position, you will direct the evaluation and advancement of systems intended to make commercial fusion electricity a reality. Day-to-day duties involve coordinating testing efforts, balancing engineering resources, and establishing project ownership across your group. Your team will validate component concepts and propel future technologies forward by conducting high-voltage pulsed checks on electromagnets alongside material assessments under extreme radiation conditions. These assignments require close partnership with internal departments such as science, engineering, production, and radiation and nuclear safety. You will deliver your daily responsibilities under the direction of the company’s R&D manager. The posting requires the employee to perform their functions on site at the Everett office.
