HII is hiring an Engineer Logistics 2 for its Ingalls Shipbuilding team in Avondale, Louisiana. The role focuses on field support analysis, tool and test equipment recommendations, calibration planning, maintenance demonstrations, handbook review, and logistics support work, including provisioning technical data for Navy contracts using ICAPS. Applicants need a bachelor’s degree with at least two years of related experience, or a master’s degree with no relevant experience, and the company prefers candidates who know ICAPS, can read drawings, understand equipment configuration, and are familiar with technical manuals and hierarchical structure codes.
