Hostinger’s SpringWater team is hiring an M&A / Investment Manager in Vilnius to help find, assess, and complete majority investments in founder-led software businesses. The role covers the full deal process, including financial analysis, due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and ongoing work with portfolio companies. Your role We are looking for an ambitious M&A / Investment Manager to lead the identification, execution, and ownership of majority investments in high-quality software businesses. An ideal candidate combines strong transaction experience with an entrepreneurial mindset and a genuine interest in long-term ownership. You will operate across the full investment lifecycle - from sourcing and evaluation to negotiation, execution, and ongoing involvement with portfolio companies. You will work directly with founders and advisors, with real exposure to decision-making and responsibility for outcomes. Over time, you will take increasing ownership of deals and contribute to investment decisions by forming independent views on business quality, valuation, and long-term potential. You will be expected to think and act like an owner, not just manage a process. This is an on-site role based in Vilnius, Lithuania. We welcome candidates currently working abroad who are open to relocating. Your day-to-day Investment analysis & due diligence: - Lead financial analysis, valuation, and investment case development - Conduct deep-dive due diligence across financial, commercial, and operational areas - Evaluate how changes in technology (including AI) impact business quality, defensibility, and long-term value - Prepare and present investment materials to internal decision-makers Deal structuring & execution: - Lead or support negotiations with founders and advisors - Structure and execute majority and 100% acquisitions - Drive transactions end-to-end, coordinating external advisors and internal stakeholders Deal origination & sourcing: - Identify and assess acquisition opportunities across global software markets - Build trusted relationships with founders, advisors, and industry participants - Continuously improve sourcing strategies, outreach, and deal flow quality Portfolio management & value creation: - Partner with founders and leadership teams to drive strategy, operations, and key decisions post-acquisition - Oversee governance, performance, and capital allocation to build value across the portfolio Operations & firm building: - Help refine internal investment processes and decision frameworks - Contribute to building a scalable acquisition and portfolio platform - Support and mentor junior team members Your skills and experience - 5-8 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, private equity, corporate development, transaction services, or related fields - Strong financial modelling and valuation skills, with the ability to assess businesses holistically - Proven experience working on transactions (buy-side or sell-side) - Strong commercial judgment and ability to operate with incomplete information - Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust with founders and advisors - Ability to operate independently and drive processes end-to-end - Genuine interest in technology and being thoughtful about how AI is reshaping software businesses and investment opportunities - Full professional fluency in English What we offer - Ownership and autonomy that grows with you - help shape a growing investment platform with global reach - Full investment lifecycle exposure from deal origination to portfolio management and value creation - Direct influence on investment decisions - Work with ambitious software entrepreneurs and help build durable, high-quality businesses - A fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture where decisions are made quickly and ownership is real - Potential for long-term upside as we scale Compensation - Gross salary 6,000-8,000 Eur/month, depending on your experience and skills
