Staff Nurse

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Staff Nurse for their Honolulu, HI location. In this role, the nurse will provide comprehensive care to patients and their families, while also supervising licensed practical nurses and nursing assistive personnel. Responsibilities include administering medications, utilizing the nursing process for care delivery, and ensuring the quality of nursing services provided. The nurse will also serve as a resource and preceptor, taking charge of duties as assigned. Candidates must be graduates from an accredited nursing program and hold a valid Registered Nurse License in Hawaii, along with Basic Life Support certification. The position requires the ability to delegate tasks appropriately and verify the competency of staff performing specialized nursing tasks. This role is ideal for individuals who are skilled in nursing judgment and possess strong leadership abilities, as they will be responsible for directing care and maintaining clinical expertise. The position is part of a bargaining unit for Hawaii Nurses and Healthcare Professionals.
