SETSS Special Education Teacher - Manhattan

Knowledge Road is seeking New York State-certified Special Education Teachers to provide SETSS services in Manhattan on a contractor basis. The role involves planning and delivering individualized or small-group instruction tailored to each student's IEP or IESP goals. Teachers will also be responsible for maintaining session notes, completing required documentation, and communicating with families and school teams. Attendance at IESP meetings for the students they support is also expected. Candidates must hold NYS certification in Students with Disabilities for grades B-2, 1-6, 7-12, or All Grades and should be available to work in Manhattan. Importantly, applicants cannot have been employed by the NYC Department of Education in the past year without special approval. The position offers flexibility in caseload and hours, allowing teachers to choose cases based on their availability.
