AWS DevOps Engineer (Freelancer)

Mactores is seeking a freelance AWS DevOps Engineer to support their infrastructure modernization efforts, specifically under the Application & Database Modernization pillar. In this role, you will be responsible for automating infrastructure creation using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation, managing application configuration, and enabling Infrastructure as Code through various deployment tools. Your day-to-day tasks will include overseeing the build and release cycle for customer projects, deploying releases, and enhancing operational infrastructure, which involves working with Jenkins clusters, Bitbucket, and monitoring tools like Consul, Graphite, and Grafana. The position requires hands-on experience in DevOps practices, particularly with enterprise applications and big data workloads. As this is a client-facing role, strong communication skills are essential for setting and meeting customer expectations.
