Product Finance Expert

This full-time position in Munich involves collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to define solutions for customer accounting challenges. The role requires translating specific accounting rules and user needs into precise technical requirements for development teams. You will serve as the primary accounting reference for the product group, ensuring that all software releases meet strict correctness standards before they reach customers. Additionally, you will engage directly with clients and accounting partners to understand their workflows within the DATEV ecosystem and broader small business tooling. The company expects candidates to possess at least five years of hands-on accounting experience in an SMB setting, such as within a tax advisory or finance team. Prior experience building or implementing accounting software is also required, along with strong working knowledge of DATEV. While proficiency in NetSuite or Microsoft Dynamics is considered a plus, it is not mandatory. Candidates must be fluent in both German and English to communicate effectively across the team.
