This position involves managing and maintaining web and application servers to ensure secure and stable operations. Daily tasks include performing configurations, applying updates, and continuously evolving the existing server landscape. You will monitor systems, analyze log data, and resolve any technical issues that arise. The role also requires supporting application developers and external service providers while contributing to IT projects. Additionally, you will help optimize deployment and automation processes and support the broader development of the IT infrastructure, with a future focus on databases and cloud environments. Candidates should hold a vocational training in system integration or application development, or a degree in computer science. Prior professional experience as an IT system administrator, particularly within web and application server environments, is highly desirable. The job requires practical knowledge of IT infrastructure management and the administration of common web and application platforms. Familiarity with scripting, version control, and automation tools is considered an advantage, as is experience with relational databases, SQL, or cloud environments. A solid understanding of IT security principles is essential for this role. Applicants must possess secure German language skills.
