Senior Data Scientist

Nash is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join their remote team, marking the first data science position within the company. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and addressing high-impact opportunities related to pricing, dispatch, carrier selection, ETA prediction, routing, and supply-demand forecasting. You will work with complex operational datasets, including delivery events and geospatial data, to build models that consider real-world logistics constraints and service requirements. The position requires proficiency in Python and SQL, as well as experience in developing production data pipelines and model integrations. Ideal candidates will possess a blend of product judgment, logistics or marketplace knowledge, and practical machine learning skills. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in high-ownership environments and can transform ambiguous challenges into measurable outcomes. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including Product, Engineering, and Operations, to drive data science initiatives from initial discovery to deployment and performance enhancement.
