Reliability Engineer

Owens Corning is seeking a Reliability Engineer for their facility in Aiken, SC. The role involves enhancing equipment reliability by identifying opportunities and implementing effective maintenance strategies. Daily responsibilities include leading root cause failure analysis (RCFA) for maintenance issues, developing equipment care strategies, and providing support for troubleshooting and repairs. The engineer will utilize problem resolution techniques and data metrics to prioritize improvements and ensure consistent operations. Candidates should possess strong electrical and mechanical skills, along with knowledge of process control concepts such as SPC and FMEA. A bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, is required, along with a minimum of three years of experience in reliability engineering within a heavy industrial or continuous manufacturing setting. The position does not involve direct reports and is suited for individuals with a multi-discipline reliability background who are committed to promoting a culture of safety and reliability.
