QA Engineer (Anywhere in Europe)

PadSplit is seeking a QA Engineer to enhance quality across its Marketplace pod, which includes Mobile, Web, and backend systems. The role involves designing and executing comprehensive test strategies, validating complex user flows, and performing API validation and data integrity checks. The engineer will also be responsible for executing regression tests, diagnosing defects, and managing the defect lifecycle while collaborating with engineers for root-cause analysis. Maintaining test environments and proactively identifying quality risks during sprint planning and release cycles are also key responsibilities. Candidates should have experience in cross-platform testing, particularly with mobile, web, and backend systems, as well as expertise in validating RESTful APIs and backend business logic. A solid understanding of the software development and testing lifecycles is essential, along with proficiency in relevant testing tools.
