Senior ML Engineer

Quilter is hiring a Senior ML Engineer for its remote Placer team, which builds AI to automate PCB component placement. The role covers the full path from research and prototyping through production deployment and ongoing support, with work in optimization, machine learning, and geometric deep learning on a complex combinatorial problem. It involves developing GPU-based code in PyTorch and CUDA C++, and may include reinforcement learning, graph neural networks, classical optimization, and generative modeling. This role is aimed at someone with at least five years of industry experience in ML, optimization, or a related area, strong foundations in machine learning and optimization, and a high level of autonomy.
