Senior Mechanical Engineer

SAIC is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to work in Huntsville, AL, focusing on the design and development of complex mechanical systems for a reconfigurable air defense project. Daily responsibilities include mechanical design and analysis, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet performance and reliability standards, and performing engineering calculations and simulations. The role also involves system integration, prototyping, and testing to validate mechanical designs against specifications. Candidates should be familiar with industry and government standards, such as MIL-STD, and be able to prepare technical documentation and reports for design reviews.
