Financial Analyst

Slate Auto is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their Product Development FP&A team in Troy, MI. The role involves collaborating with product development teams to support the launch of new vehicles through budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and strategic analysis. Daily tasks include leading budgeting processes, performing financial analyses to compare actual results against forecasts, and communicating insights to senior management. The analyst will also act as a business partner, providing support for key performance indicators and strategic initiatives, while managing costs related to product development and recommending optimization strategies. Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field, with an MBA or CFA preferred. A minimum of three years of experience in financial planning and analysis is required. The position is office-based, and the ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a collaborative mindset, making them well-suited for a dynamic team environment focused on financial decision-making.
