What's the role?
We're looking for a passionate and reliable Weekend Cook to join our team at a premium corporate food manufacturing site in Wodonga. Reporting to the Chef Manager, you'll play a key role in preparing fresh meals, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting the day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
This is a part-time position (21 hours per week) with a consistent roster, making it ideal for someone looking for regular weekend work.
Roster:
Friday: 6:30am to 1:30pm
Saturday: 6:30am to 10:30am
Sunday: 6:30am to 10:30am
Monday: 6:30am to 1:30pm
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook short-order meals and assist with food preparation
Deliver friendly and professional customer service
Support counter service and basic barista duties
Maintain a clean, organised, and food-safe kitchen environment
Assist with general kitchen operations and cleaning duties
About You
Previous experience as a Cook or in a commercial kitchen environment
Passion for preparing quality food and providing excellent customer service
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
Reliable, organised, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
To be successful, you'll need:
Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or unrestricted Australian working rights ( No Working Holiday Visa applications, please )
To reside in or around the Wodonga region
The ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical, including a National Police Check
