Data Engineer

Teza Technologies is seeking a Data Engineer to join their Data Platform team in Yerevan, Armenia. In this hands-on role, the engineer will collaborate closely with Portfolio Managers and Quantitative Developers to transform their data requirements into effective datasets and pipelines. Key responsibilities include designing and integrating new data sources, enhancing system performance and scalability, and developing automated systems for data cleansing and monitoring. The position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to evaluate and implement new tools for managing large datasets. Familiarity with Apache Airflow is essential, as the team is transitioning many scheduled jobs to this platform. The role is suited for individuals who thrive in a small team environment and are eager to contribute to innovative projects, such as a bitemporal data store and a Python migration of existing code. This position requires in-office work in Yerevan, ensuring close collaboration with the team.
