This full-time position in Elmshorn requires an immediate start for a process engineer within the Technics team. The role involves analyzing and refining current machine and production workflows while implementing new Total Productive Maintenance standards directly on the shop floor. You will also design safety protocols based on risk assessments to ensure compliance with occupational health and environmental regulations. Key responsibilities include leading continuous improvement initiatives, conducting Kaizen and root-cause analyses, and monitoring equipment performance through data evaluation. Additionally, you will shape new production lines for product launches, select appropriate machinery, and independently manage technical projects. Training operators in maintenance standards and developing autonomous maintenance concepts with the production team are also part of the duties. As a central liaison between production, technical, and quality assurance departments, you will perform internal audits to drive further process optimization. Candidates need a completed degree in a technical field such as mechanical engineering, food technology, or industrial engineering, or an equivalent qualification. The role demands a strong passion for process enhancement and experience in analyzing complex workflows to optimize resource use. Proficiency in methodologies like Lean Management, TPM, or Kaizen is essential, along with a persistent, solution-oriented approach to challenging existing practices.
