Position Summary
The Contracts Manager is responsible for the commercial and contractual management of the EPC Contract throughout the engineering, procurement, and module fabrication phases of the project. Acting as the primary contractual interface between the project team and the EPC Contractor, the role ensures contractual obligations, rights, risks, and opportunities are effectively managed and administered in accordance with contract requirements.
Working closely with Project Management, Project Controls, Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Commercial, and Legal teams, the Contracts Manager will safeguard the project's commercial interests while maintaining productive and collaborative relationships with the EPC Contractor and key stakeholders.
The role requires substantial experience in administering and managing major EPC contracts within LNG, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or large-scale energy infrastructure projects, with a strong understanding of engineering, procurement, module fabrication, construction interfaces,
Key Responsibilities
Lead EPC contract administration, governance, and compliance.
Manage contract obligations, correspondence, changes, variations, and claims.
Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
Support engineering, procurement, fabrication, and contractor interface management.
Monitor contractor performance, milestones, and contractual deliverables.
Provide contractual advice, commercial recommendations, and negotiation support.
Prepare contract reports, risk registers, and executive summaries.
Collaborate with project, commercial, legal, and contractor stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Commerce, Construction Management, or related field.
15+ years’ contract/commercial management experience on major EPC projects, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
Strong experience administering large EPC/LSTK contracts.
Experience in LNG, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or major energy projects.
Strong knowledge of EPC execution, contractor management, and commercial governance.

Preferred Profile
Experience on LNG/export terminal projects and EPC contracts >US$1B.
Strong capability in change management, claims avoidance, dispute resolution, and contractor performance management.
Experience in owner, PMC, or EPC environments with international fabrication programs.
