Java Developer

Ubiquiti Inc. is seeking a Java Developer to join their UniFi Network Team in Riga, Latvia. In this role, you will focus on back-end development for the UniFi Network application, creating efficient and scalable features that will impact a large user base. Daily tasks will include developing REST APIs to support web and mobile applications, as well as integrating with network device firmware and other UniFi OS applications. The technology stack for this position includes Java 17/21, Spring Boot 3.2, MongoDB, GraalVM, and Jenkins. Candidates should have over five years of experience in Java application development and a solid understanding of SOLID principles. Familiarity with web application development and AI tools such as Claude and Codex is also required. Fluency in both English and Latvian is necessary for effective communication. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing for flexibility between office and remote work.
