Full Stack Developer

Va4u is hiring a Full Stack Developer for a permanent remote role working with clients based in Australia or the US. The position involves creating and maintaining web applications across both client-facing and server-side systems, including API work, integrations, debugging, and performance improvements. It suits developers with at least three years of experience, strong JavaScript or TypeScript skills, and hands-on knowledge of modern front-end and back-end tools, databases, Git, and remote collaboration. Experience with cloud services, testing, Docker, CI/CD, or Agile methods would be an advantage.

We're looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to join our growing remote team and work with Australian or US-based clients. If you're passionate about building scalable web applications, writing clean code, and solving complex technical challenges, we'd love to hear from you. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Design, develop, test, and maintain responsive web applications. - Build and maintain both front-end and back-end components. - Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services. - Collaborate with designers, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. - Optimize application performance, security, and scalability. - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues. - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. - Participate in code reviews and follow best development practices. - Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements. QUALIFICATIONS - Minimum 3 years of Full Stack Development experience. - Experience working with Australian or US clients is highly preferred. - Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript. - Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue.js, or Angular. - Strong back-end experience using Node.js, .NET, PHP/Laravel, Python (Django/FastAPI), or similar technologies. - Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.). - Knowledge of REST APIs and third-party integrations. - Experience with Git and modern development workflows. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent written and verbal English communication. - Ability to work independently in a remote environment. NICE TO HAVE - Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines. - Experience with GraphQL. - Knowledge of testing frameworks and automated testing. - Agile/Scrum experience.
