English to Burmese (Myanmar) Linguist & Copy Editor for Product, Marketing & UI Content

Welo Global is looking for experienced linguists and copy editors proficient in Burmese (Myanmar) to work on a long-term freelance project for a multinational client. The role involves translating and copy-editing various types of content, including marketing, user interface, product, support, informational, and legal materials. Candidates should have native or near-native proficiency in Burmese and a strong command of English. A minimum of two years of professional translation experience is required, along with a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field, or at least five years of experience without a formal degree. The position is remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements, and candidates can expect to handle over 5,000 words per week. Familiarity with a client-specific CAT tool will be necessary, but training will be provided during onboarding.
