Chief Accountant

Zeppelin Armenia LLC is looking for a Chief Accountant to manage their accounting operations, financial reporting, and tax compliance. The role involves organizing and overseeing all accounting activities in line with Armenian legislation and accounting standards. Daily tasks include preparing and submitting financial statements and management reports, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and managing payroll processes, including the calculation of salaries and statutory deductions. The Chief Accountant will also be responsible for maintaining accurate payroll records, reconciling accounts, and implementing internal controls to protect company assets. Candidates should have relevant experience in accounting and a strong understanding of local tax legislation. Proficiency in Armenian is implied, given the nature of the work. This position is suitable for individuals with a solid background in accounting who are detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively. The job is based in Abovyan, Armenia.
