Tech Lead Backend (Node.js/ Nest.js)

Zexter is seeking a Tech Lead Backend to oversee their backend systems within the iGaming sector. This role involves a combination of hands-on development and technical leadership, where the successful candidate will make architectural decisions and ensure the scalability and reliability of systems. Daily tasks include leading the development of complex backend solutions using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS, while also working with PostgreSQL, Redis, and message queues. The position requires over seven years of commercial backend development experience, along with a strong understanding of backend architecture and software design principles. Candidates should have experience with high-load production systems and be proficient in SQL and database optimization. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud environments is also necessary. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, as the role involves mentoring other engineers and collaborating with various teams. Proficiency in English is required.
