About the role
Canonical is seeking a Travel Operations Specialist to join its Business Services team, focusing on facilitating travel for colleagues and guests attending company meetings and industry events. Daily responsibilities include addressing travel inquiries, collaborating with the team on event planning, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring accurate invoicing for travel expenses. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. While extensive experience is not a requirement, candidates should demonstrate reliability and a willingness to take on responsibilities related to projects and policies. The role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in work location, except in areas where Canonical has offices, such as London, Taipei, and Beijing. This position is suitable for individuals who are self-motivated and eager to develop their skills in a unique global business environment. Fluency in English is expected, given the international nature of the role.
