Job Responsibilities - Utilize research, foundational tax, and accounting skills to identify potential risks and opportunities on a variety of tax compliance and consulting engagements - Prepare and review complex tax returns, projections, and models - Learn from on the job coaching and mentoring - Build on technical skills by keeping up with industry trends and technical authorities and apply them to complex situations - Demonstrate effective project and time management skills by being able to prioritize a variety of tasks and delegate work to associates. - Support the growth and development of team members and help associates meet their professional goals Qualifications - BS/BA degree in Accounting - 2+ years of public accounting experience - Self-motivation - Strong communication and organizational skills - Foundational knowledge of technical tax concepts - CPA or EA license is preferred, but not required “TKR”, an independent member of the Crete Professionals Alliance, is the brand name under which Toole Katz & Roemersma, LLP and TKR Advisors, LLC and its subsidiary entities provide professional services. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS The total rewards package at Current includes base salary and benefits. Our salary ranges are competitive within the accounting industry and are updated regularly using the most reliable compensation survey data for our industry. New hire offers are made based on a candidate’s experience, expertise, geographic location, and internal pay equity relative to peers.
