Data Engineer

Delta Defense LLC is seeking a Data Engineer to join their team in West Bend, WI. In this role, the engineer will focus on transforming complex data into actionable insights, supporting the Enterprise Data Warehouse, and enhancing the accessibility of key performance indicators and reporting across the organization. Daily tasks include creating clean and reusable datasets, adhering to data transformation standards, and maintaining data quality through profiling methodologies. The position also involves collaborating with the Data Architecture team to ensure data model consistency and leveraging existing infrastructure for data-related requests. Candidates should have a high school diploma, with an associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in relevant fields such as Computer Science or Data Science. A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in data engineering or business intelligence is required, along with 3-5 years of SQL experience. Familiarity with AWS cloud technologies and Agile SDLC is preferred, as is experience with dbt. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented and possess strong problem-solving skills.
