Lead AI Engineer with .NET

EPAM Systems is looking for a Lead AI Engineer to enhance measurement products with AI features. The role involves owning the architecture of these features, which include natural-language queries, summarization, intelligent validation, and workflow assistance. The engineer will work with various tools and services such as model gateways, prompt registries, and vector stores, focusing on integrating AI capabilities into existing platforms rather than building new ones. Responsibilities include establishing reusable AI patterns, implementing retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) processes, and defining evaluation disciplines for AI outputs. The position requires leading a small engineering team and ensuring the quality and accountability of their work. This is a fully remote role, allowing candidates to work from any location in Armenia, including home or designated offices in Yerevan or Gyumri. The position is suitable for individuals with experience in AI integration and evaluation, particularly those familiar with large language models and responsible AI practices.
