Senior Backend Engineer

Firebird.ai is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join their Cloud team in Yerevan on a permanent basis. In this role, the engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services and internal platforms. Daily tasks will include developing high-performance software systems, collaborating with various teams to create comprehensive solutions, and participating in architecture discussions and code reviews. The ideal candidate should possess strong backend engineering skills, experience with production-grade systems, and proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, Java, C++, C#, or Rust. A solid understanding of distributed systems, APIs, databases, and scalable architectures is essential, along with experience in Linux environments. The role requires strong communication skills and a collaborative approach, as well as an ownership mentality to thrive in a dynamic environment.
