Backend Engineer (Ruby), Create: Change Record
GitLab is seeking a Backend Engineer to join the Change Record team within its Source Code stage. In this role, the engineer will focus on creating a reliable record of code changes, detailing what was altered, the reasons behind it, and the contributors involved. The position requires a backend-oriented engineer with full-stack experience, who is comfortable working on both existing systems and new product development. Proficiency in Ruby on Rails is essential, as it will be the primary technology used to enhance GitLab's source code experience. The role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a high-performance culture and are eager to collaborate with industry leaders to tackle complex challenges. GitLab values innovation and encourages team members to integrate AI into their workflows to boost productivity and impact. Candidates should be prepared to engage in continuous knowledge exchange and contribute to a culture where every voice is heard.
