Engineering Manager, Treasury

Givebutter is seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee their Treasury pod, focusing on enhancing financial infrastructure for nonprofit users. In this role, you will engage in hands-on work, including coding, reviewing pull requests, and making architectural decisions based on real-world context. The position requires you to monitor systems, respond to incidents, and understand the practical implications of your team's output. While you won't need to manage an individual contributor workload like a senior engineer, regular coding and collaboration with your team are expected. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background and be comfortable navigating ambiguity through prototyping. This remote position is suited for individuals who can build trust both with their team and in technical matters. You will report directly to the VP of Engineering and contribute to the company's product vision. If you have been away from coding for an extended period and prefer to remain detached from it, this role may not be the best fit for you.
