Director of Strategic Affairs, EMEA

Instructure is seeking a Director of Strategic Affairs for the EMEA region, a remote position focused on leading the company's policy and government affairs initiatives. The role involves establishing and nurturing relationships with national policymakers, education leaders, and consortia to leverage influence into market opportunities and revenue growth. Daily responsibilities include developing and executing the public affairs strategy, tracking education and technology policy, and advocating for Instructure's positions. Candidates should have over ten years of experience in international government affairs or public policy, particularly within K-12 or higher education sectors. A strong understanding of EMEA education policy and procurement processes is essential, along with proven relationship-building skills with senior leaders. The position requires excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation abilities, as well as fluency in English and at least one additional European language. A bachelor's degree is mandatory, while an advanced degree and experience with EU or global NGOs are considered advantageous.
