Senior Substrate Engineer

Intel is seeking a Senior Substrate Engineer to enhance substrate manufacturing technologies within their Asia Capex Substrate Integration group. This role involves developing and optimizing integration methodologies for advanced substrates, focusing on improving yield and reliability. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality, to tackle technical challenges and implement new materials and techniques aimed at boosting performance and cost efficiency. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting process issues, supporting technology transfer for high-volume manufacturing, and documenting development efforts for production teams. Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Materials Science or Chemical Engineering, along with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in process integration. The position requires the engineer to be on-site at the supplier factory for at least four days a week.
