Senior Software Engineer, Product Platform

Lithic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Product Platform team, which is responsible for the core API that supports all Lithic products. In this role, you will be tasked with writing secure and scalable code while minimizing technical debt. Daily responsibilities include enhancing system reliability, managing projects from inception to launch, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders. The position requires a minimum of four years of experience in developing production backend systems, particularly with public-facing APIs at scale. Familiarity with Rust is preferred, although a willingness to learn the language is also acceptable.
