Lead Data Engineer

Mastercard is looking for a Lead Data Engineer to join their Data Commercialization Platform team in Arlington, Virginia. In this role, the engineer will design and develop cloud-native data and Business Intelligence solutions, primarily utilizing tools such as Databricks, Snowflake, and AWS. Daily tasks will involve building scalable data pipelines and analytics frameworks that support enterprise data products, as well as implementing multi-cloud architectures across AWS and Azure. The position requires expertise in creating CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks to ensure reliable data platform provisioning. The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on engineering skills and technical leadership abilities, with a focus on translating complex requirements into effective solutions. This hybrid role necessitates being onsite three days a week. The position is suited for individuals who are adept at working with cloud technologies and have experience in data engineering.
