The Role:
Assistant Manager, Retail Operations:
The Assistant Manager of Retail Operations reports to the Store Manager and is responsible for executing operational standards in their Reformation store location. The Assistant Manager of Retail Operations will help standardize processes and execute strategies for project management, budget management, and internal reporting. They will roll-up their sleeves to help drive real, sustainable implementation. The Assistant Manager of Retail Operations Manager is a big picture thinker and a hands-on doer; is smart, adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable working with all levels in the store and HQ Leadership. This is a great role for a motivated self-starter looking to gain a deep understanding of a vertically integrated fashion business and managing the challenges that come from a quickly growing company. The ideal person is willing to pitch in anywhere there’s an opportunity--big and small--even if it is outside of the normal job responsibilities.
What You'll Do:
Partners with cross functional teams to ensure execution of applicable policies, procedures, and updates
Implements, maintains and continuously manages suitable tools and metrics to support project effectiveness while aligning with the growing and scaling needs of Reformation
Executes and maintains business processes, best practices, and other documentation
Interfaces regularly with key cross-functional partners to solicit, evaluate and filter feedback to ensure teams’ perspectives and needs are included in decision-making
Develops compelling, insightful recommendations through data, analysis and qualitative learning
Performs ad hoc analysis and business operations reporting
Supports budget management and reporting for store location
Identifies and prioritizes the company’s strategic initiatives and serves as change agent
Partners with Store Manager and Corporate Field Leaders to develop framework for tackling complex business problems, and works to achieve critical business goals
Retail Operations
Continually improve operational systems, processes and policies – support better management reporting, information flow, and organizational planning
Maintain Standard Operating Procedures and supervise all finished goods inventory moves and transfers including allocations/receiving, inventory adjustments, RTVs, damages/defects.
Inventory Control / Loss Prevention
Run variance reports, audits, and support annual physical inventories
Oversee regular inventory counts; monitor and assist with monthly cycle counts and inventory reconciliations in stores
Help teams meet shrink goals by executing Loss Prevention standards, and conducting Loss Prevention awareness training.
People Management/ Training
Maintain a Retail Operations training guide
Provide digital and on-site training as needed to maintain efficient and knowledgeable operations competencies in store
Reporting / Communication
Effectively present information and respond to questions from retail, DC, and corporate teams
Complete weekly and monthly inventory reporting
Track operational metric performance on a weekly basis to ensure SLA compliance
What You’ll Bring:
2-3 years experience in retail operations and retail management
Experience working with a sales or retail organization and/or operationally intensive business.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
Ability to set the standard for operational efficiency, adhering to processes and systems to maximize team and business results, and identifying opportunities for improvement
Motivated to get results, and maintain the most accurate inventory possible.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Strong working knowledge of excel and google
The skills to collaborate with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes
High attention to detail, a proactive sense of urgency and ability to prioritize important work and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills to train, coach, and lead by example and the ability to interact effectively with diverse personalities.
Driven approach to take on new challenges with the self-motivation for your work and career that inspires others
An effective and expedient problem-solver, strong business acumen with a keen attention to detail
Positive attitude and feels there is no task too small and no task too large

Understanding of Retail Labor Laws
GSuite experience a plus
Compensation:
The wage for this full-time position is $50,000 - $70,000 per year.
Available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
Daily open availability across a full 7 day work week
Able to work flexible schedule (days, nights, weekends, & holidays if required to meet the needs of the business)
