Senior Legal Counsel (m/w/d) – Perspektive General Counsel

Ryd is hiring a full-time Senior Legal Counsel based in Munich, reporting directly to the company's chairman. Day-to-day duties involve leading an established internal legal department and advising corporate leadership and operational teams across commercial, civil, corporate, labor, and competition law. The appointed lawyer will oversee contract management by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating domestic and cross-border agreements. Daily operations also encompass guiding fundraising rounds, due diligence checks, corporate structure changes, and shareholder and board meetings. Furthermore, the role manages data protection compliance, terms of service for digital products, intellectual property, foreign subsidiaries, and market entries. Handling international contracts requires fluency in both German and English. This opening is structured as a succession plan for the previous head of legal, with the prospect of advancing to General Counsel within eighteen months once complete control over the legal domain is demonstrated. It suits a legal professional capable of independently guiding corporate expansion, maintaining foundational governance practices, and eventually assuming total institutional leadership over the organization's legal operations.
