Primary Care Registered Nurse

Sentara Health is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team at Sentara Family Medicine Chimney Hill in Virginia Beach, VA. The role involves providing patient care in a clinic setting, where the nurse will assess patients, assist with medical procedures, administer medications and immunizations, and educate patients about their care. The position requires managing triage and follow-up communications with patients, as well as coordinating with physicians and office staff to ensure efficient operations. Candidates should have one to two years of experience in ambulatory care or medical-surgical nursing, with an Associate’s degree in nursing being mandatory; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and a current state RN license are also required, along with successful completion of the NCLEX-RN examination. The role is primarily day shift, operating Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
